About Creative Connections
Creative Connections is my uniquely designed tantra puja. There are many types of pujas or sacred ceremonies and this one is actually a celebration of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine in the form of woman and man. A simplified definition of “tantra” is the combining of love and meditation. Therefore the ambiance of this tantric puja is one of reverence in honoring Who We Truly Are at the essence level.
Before the puja begins--the room is set up with ‘stations’ composed of blankets and sitting cushions in a large circle. The puja unfolds as a series of ‘active meditations in which the inner circle rotates around the outer circle. There are a variety of energy exchanges involving breathing, moving, chanting, singing and eye-gazing. The purpose of this activity is to experience heart connections while seeing beyond the appearance, beyond the personality and beyond one’s conditioned filters to feel the Essential Self, to behold the spiritual being in the midst of humanity and vulnerabilities. It is an evening of ‘sacred play’ co-created by the facilitators and the participants and can often be very healing. All of the exercises are underscored by inspirational music. The entire event is guided and has very strong boundaries which are firmly enforced. There is no nudity, disrobing or inappropriate behavior allowed by anyone. As the puja progresses there is an unconditional loving energy vortex which deepens and can be felt especially throughout the latter half of the puja.
Often there will be refreshments offered after the circle closes. This provides an opportunity for socializing and making personal connections with new people. Name tags are provided for this part of the evening.
Creative Connections I
This is the ‘entry level’ which is great way to ‘get your feet wet’ and to experience something very new to most people. It is playful and very interactive. No prior experience is necessary. Willingness to be open to the new and unknown is a healthy attitude with which to approach your first Creative Connections event. Since each puja offers a new mix of people—it can be fun to join in again and and again to participate in this “puja lite’ version!
Creative Connections II
This is the ‘intermediate level’ which is a good way to deepen in the playful practices of presence and radiance coming together. The exercises are a bit more advanced and there is opportunity to utilize your visualization abilities and to engage at a fuller experiential level. The first half of this puja is about heart connections while the second half emphasizes polarity = the pulling apart of the opposite poles of feminine and masculine to create stronger attraction. Again a very safe space is held and boundaries are firmly enforced.
Creative Connections Private Parties
This is an opportunity for you to hostess/host a Puja Party for any occasion of your choosing—birthday, anniversary, coming of any age stage, etc. A planning meeting with puja facilitator is necessary in which a variety of different exchanges are presented and a blueprint with the exact puja sequence is created.
This puja party can be designed for any population and can be gender-balanced or not. The hostess/host is responsible for providing the space, inviting the people and paying the facilitator fee. A professional sound system is available for larger puja parties.
